We took a picnic lunch to Wave Hill, in Riverdale NY. Wave Hill is a spectacular 28-acre public garden and cultural center overlooking the Hudson River and Palisades in the Bronx. Wave Hill’s vibrant landscape is one of the most beautiful spots in New York City, and the destination of our recent outing.

A variety of settings showcases the plants of the season, including: aquatic garden, conifer slope, paisley bed, a wild garden, and more. Fine weather enhanced our enjoyment of nature’s diverse displays of beauty. The company of our neighbors and friends made a very pleasant visit even better. The trip was both refreshing and relaxing, with a variety of special moments to savor when we got home.

The Wave Hill official web site states their mission to:
