Two recent outings were big hits with residents. The River Rose Boat Cruise on an authentic Mississippi paddle wheeler touring the Hudson River and a trip to the Piermont Pier with picnic lunch under the Pavilion were our most recent adventures.
Piermont’s name combines two local features, the Erie railroad pier and Tallman Mountain. Our outing included a picnic on the village’s pavilion. Views from the area are stunning. The pier stretches a mile into the Hudson and is a favorite for fishing, and we enjoyed the water birds that flocked nearby.
We welcome company on many of our monthly excursions. Get in touch for more information about upcoming trips.
The River Rose is an authentic restored Mississippi river boat that is the pet project and business venture of owner/Captain John “Duke” Panzella. The leisurely cruise was like a floating party that entertained and relaxed us all in comfort.
